Oscium was founded in 2010 by two brothers who saw a clear opportunity: test equipment was powerful but far too bulky, expensive, and lab-bound for real-world use.

They asked a simple question: What if the device every technician already carried could become a professional instrument?

That vision launched a full line of portable iOS tools — oscilloscopes, power meters, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers — designed to disrupt traditional benchtop gear with easy-to-use, fit-for-purpose solutions.

Over time, the company sharpened its focus exclusively on the needs of wireless professionals. Today, every Oscium tool is built for them and them alone.

In 2024 that mission took its biggest step. Oscium acquired MetaGeek, the team behind inSSIDer, Chanalyzer, and Wi-Spy. Decades of the most trusted names in Wi-Fi analysis, now under one roof.

Today it's one team and one mission: give wireless professionals everything they need to see, find, and fix Wi-Fi problems, wherever the work takes them.
